Mount Tzfahot
Mount Tzfahot or Slate Mountain – named after the slate rock of which it is made – soars to a height of 278 meters
The mountain provides a rare lookout point, from where one can see Egypt (to the south), Israel (to the north), Jordan (to the east) and Saudi Arabia (to the southeast).

Amram Pillars
The Amram Pillars, located on a cliff at the beginning of the Amram Stream, which flows through the Eilat Mountains north of the city, are made of soft, pink Nubian sandstone.
The pillars were created by rainwater that seeped into cracks in the cliff, and the erosion of the rock along the cracks created five colossal columns towering about 15 meters high.

Shkhoret Canyon
This is the narrowest section of the Shkhoret Stream, which starts in the Eilat Mountains, soaring over the city.
Floodwaters gradually wore down the solid granite boulders over many years until they carved out the colorful channel, with each new flood altering the course and depth of the canyon.
