General Notes

1. All requests or inquiries must include the name and reservation number. Any change, reservation update, or other special request, including a change to room check-in or check-out times, is subject to the hostel's prior written approval. Approval will be granted subject to the hostel's capabilities and room availability, and the change may involve an additional charge.
2. Upon arrival at the hostel, the reservation confirmation must be presented.
3. Rooms will be available for check-in from 15:00.
   Rooms must be vacated on weekdays by 10:00. On Saturdays and holidays: by 12:00.
   Late check-out is subject to IYHA's prior written approval (which will be granted subject to availability) and an additional charge (excluding full-board meal-swap / half-board meal-swap arrangements).
4. Holders of an IYHA membership card will receive a discount on the accommodation rate, subject to presentation of a valid card at the time of the stay and to these Terms and Conditions. Discounts cannot be combined with IYHA "Hamshush" offers, promotions, or accommodation packages.
5. Smoking is strictly prohibited in rooms and public areas.
6. Removing food from the dining room is prohibited.
7. Lighting fires on the hostel premises (including barbecues) is prohibited.
8. Bringing animals onto the hostel premises is prohibited, except guide dogs and service animals.
9. Personal information will be stored and handled in accordance with applicable law, IYHA's Privacy Policy, and the requirements of the relevant information security standards.
10. Information regarding accessibility for persons with disabilities is available on IYHA's website and/or at the hostel.
11. Parking on the hostel premises is subject to availability. Public parking near the hostel is subject to posted signage.
12. For stays of more than two persons, bunk beds may be required.
13. IYHA accommodates a variety of guest groups, including youth groups and schools.
14. By clicking the "Confirm Reservation" button, the person making the reservation confirms the reservation in all its details and also confirms that they have read these Terms and Conditions, understood their terms, and agree to them.
15. In the event of any conflict between the provisions of these Terms and Conditions and the provisions of applicable law, the provisions of applicable law shall prevail.
16. The website complies with the PCI-DSS security standard.

Payment and Cancellation Policy

Payment Method
Credit card, advance bank transfer (subject to receipt of the full payment in IYHA's account) or cash (subject to the provisions of the Law for the Reduction of the Use of Cash). IYHA does not accept cheques as a method of payment.

This document is subject to the provisions of the Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981, and the regulations enacted pursuant thereto.

• "Day/Days" in this document means a calendar day
• "Reservation Amount" in this document means the amount shown under "Total Amount Due" in the reservation confirmation
• Weekend - from Friday evening through Saturday evening
• Holidays - Rosh Hashanah, Shavuot, Passover (including the intermediate days) and Sukkot (including the intermediate days), from the beginning of the holiday until its conclusion
• Date of Arrival at the Hostel - the date indicated in the reservation confirmation

The full Reservation Amount must be paid no later than the date of arrival at the hostel (check-in).

The cancellation fees specified in this document will be collected from the registration and handling fee/deposit paid by the person making the reservation.

If the deposit/registration fee paid is lower than the required cancellation fee, IYHA may charge the balance of the cancellation fee to the credit card whose details were provided at the time the reservation was made.

Reservations of up to 5 rooms for weekends / July-August / holidays

Payments

• At the time the reservation is made, the person making the reservation shall pay a registration and handling fee of NIS 100 per room.

Cancellation Fees

• For a reservation cancelled between the date the reservation is made and 15 days (inclusive) prior to the date of arrival at the hostel, a cancellation fee of NIS 100 per room will apply.
• For a reservation cancelled between 14 and 3 days (inclusive) prior to the date of arrival at the hostel, a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the Reservation Amount will apply.
• For a reservation cancelled two days or less prior to the date of arrival at the hostel, or in the event of a no-show at the hostel, a cancellation fee equal to the full Reservation Amount will apply.

Reservations of up to 5 rooms for the remainder of the year (excluding weekends / July-August / holidays):

• For a reservation cancelled between 7 and 3 days (inclusive) prior to the date of arrival at the hostel, a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the Reservation Amount will apply.
• For a reservation cancelled two days or less prior to the date of arrival at the hostel, or in the event of a no-show at the hostel, a cancellation fee equal to the full Reservation Amount will apply.

Additional Notes

• IYHA may collect the payments due under the reservation, including amounts resulting from cancellation or no-show, by charging the credit card provided at the time the reservation was made.
• By clicking the "Confirm Reservation" button, you confirm the reservation in all its details as set out above, as well as the collection of the specified payments by credit card or by any other method IYHA deems appropriate.
• Your confirmation of this reservation constitutes confirmation of all of the above.
